OSB board is a wood board made of long size chipping (of about 60 – 90 millimeters), mostly deal or aspen, oriented lengthwise of board edge or at right angle to the edge. These boards are produced by the way of the chipping compression with waterproof glue gum at the high temperature and pressure.

The chipping in board is set in three layers. The upper and the lower layers are oriented parallel to the board length, and the inner layer is oriented at the right angle to the length. This provides increased strength of the material and sufficient stretch at the same time.
Oriented strand board is weathering resistant (e.g. temperature or humidity). It is easily sawed and processed by any wood-working tool. OSB boards have a long usable life and a low weight, they are easy to install and maintain, and easy for transportation. The material is shipped in large-dimensioned boards. There is practically no waste after usage.
